Meghan King Edmonds is letting fans in on her son Hart’s physical therapy treatment after revealing the 13-month-old has irreversible brain damage.
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum let her followers see what life is like for her son, as he begins his first physical therapy treatment. Edmonds shared footage of her little boy via Instagram Stories. In the one video, Hart is featured sitting in a swing, being gently pushed by a physical therapist.
“Hart loves this swing at PT! It helps him build his abs and stabilize his core to ultimately give him better balance and strength,” the proud mama revealed in the first video.
The next video shows the adorable little boy not paying as much attention to his physical therapist as his she wanted. Hart’s mama revealed he gets distracted by other kids easily.

“Hart gets distracted by any other kid… especially if they have a set of ‘wheels’… that’s super awesome to him,” Edmonds wrote on the footage.
After leaving physical therapy, Edmonds shared a picture of Hart fast asleep in the stroller next to his twin brother, Hazer.
“Side effect of PT Day,” she wrote about Hart before declaring “My sweet happy Hazer, walking everywhere now.
Edmonds revealed last week that Hart had minor Periventricular Leukomalacia on both sides of his brain. The condition has put him at risk for being diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. She opened up about his brain injury in an emotional blog post titled, My Hart.
In the post, Edmonds admitted she knew from the second Hart was born something was different about her baby boy. However, the RHOC alum also feels blessed to be the little boy’s mom. His condition will no doubt have challenges, but Edmonds insists she views Hart’s diagnosis as a gift.

Meghan King Edmonds is being completely open when it comes to her son Hart’s journey. She even shared a photo of her husband, Jim Edmonds, kissing Hart before the toddler got the MRI confirming his condition.
“Mommy and daddy’s best part is the results,” she captioned it.
The reality TV is also letting her fans know how truly grateful she is for all the prayers and well wishes little Hart has received.
